Comprehensive Asbestos Management & Refurbishment Survey with Lab Testing

Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (Regulation 4: Duty to Manage Asbestos), dutyholders, commercial building owners, and residential landlords must manage the risk of asbestos in all non-domestic premises and communal areas of residential buildings constructed prior to the year 2000. Our BOHS P402 certified asbestos surveyors carry out rigorous surveys and independent UKAS laboratory sample analysis.

Survey Types Available:

• Asbestos Management Survey: Standard non-destructive survey to locate and assess the condition of suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) during normal property occupation.
• Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) Survey: Fully intrusive, destructive inspection required prior to any building refurbishment, rewiring, wall removal, or structural works.

Common Asbestos Materials Tested:

• Artex textured decorative ceiling and wall coatings.
• Asbestos insulating board (AIB) ceiling tiles, soffits, and partition panels.
• Thermoplastic vinyl floor tiles and bitumen adhesive backings.
• Cement roofing sheets, rainwater gutters, downpipes, and flue pipes.
• Pipe lagging, boiler insulation, and fire-resistant rope gaskets.

What You Receive:

A comprehensive Asbestos Survey Report featuring an Asbestos Register, Material Risk Assessment scores, high-resolution photographic evidence, and official UKAS Laboratory Certificate of Analysis detailing Chrysotile (White), Amosite (Brown), or Crocidolite (Blue) findings.
