An Electrical Installation Condition Report, commonly called an EICR or electrical safety certificate, assesses the condition and safety of the fixed electrical installation in a property.
Landlords in England must arrange for the electrical installation in their rented properties to be inspected and tested by a qualified person at least every five years, or sooner when the previous report recommends an earlier inspection.
